🔑 Join the family 1Password

1Password remembers every password so you don't have to. You memorize one strong password; it generates and fills unique, uncrackable ones for everything else. The family plan means we can also share things safely — like the Wi-Fi password or the Netflix login — without texting them to each other.

Why bother?

🎵

One password to remember

Your Master Password unlocks everything. Everything else is generated gibberish that 1Password fills in for you.

🚫

No more reuse

When one site gets hacked, reused passwords fall like dominoes. Unique passwords stop that cold.

🤝

Safe family sharing

Shared vault for household logins. Your personal vault stays private — even from Michael.

🚨

Scam protection

1Password only fills passwords on the real site. On a fake lookalike site it stays silent — a built-in scam alarm.

How to join

  1. Get your @unabode.com email first

Your 1Password account is tied to your new address. Request it here if you haven't.
  2. Submit the request below

Michael sends a 1Password family invitation to your @unabode.com inbox.
  3. Accept the invite and create your Master Password

Make it long: four or five random words works well (e.g. copper-lantern-otter-waltz). Write it on paper and keep it somewhere safe at home while you learn it. Nobody can recover it for you — not even Michael.
  4. Save your Emergency Kit

1Password gives you a PDF with your Secret Key. Print it, store it with your passport.
  5. Install the apps

Phone app + browser extension. Then, as you log in to sites, let 1Password save each password — and when it offers to upgrade a weak one, say yes.
